Stream of Life and a Video

At lunch today my friend Ana told me about a song called “Praan” by Gary Schyman. The song is used in one of the videos from the “Where the Hell is Matt” video series. The lyrics are from the poem The Stream of Life by the Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore. Below, you’ll find the video for where the song is used, but before you check it out, I leave with the English translation of the poem used for the song. Enjoy.

The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.

It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth

And2 – The Unofficial Sequel

My brother created the following spinoff of AND1 a whiles back and for some reason never took the time to promote it. I think he did a great job for someone who is a newbie in the Film Industry, so I’ve decided to feature it here.

In case you’ve never heard of AND1, it’s a basketball tour of some of the most talented street ball players around. They have had yearly tours all over the U.S. for a while now and my brother is a big fan of the series. Well, a couple of years back he came up with this idea to have fun with it, and created this unofficial sequel on flip side. Without further delay, I present to you AND2. Enjoy!

A Video for you and a Brief Update

I just got back from a Living on Live Food Chef Certification Class and it was awesome! The food was so yummy and I learned a lot. My teacher was Stacey Weckstein from radiantmindandbody.com. Be sure to check her site out.

In other news, I am still working on a new look and feel for Natasha’s World, but it’s going to take a little longer then I thought since I’ve hit a semi-designer’s block. As I work a few things out here’s a little entertainment for you. I first saw this video over at Jia’s and I knew I had to share it with y’all. I must warn you, there is profanity in this video and the reenactment that the boy is doing may be a bit disturbing to some of you. But this is reality and you have to admit that this kid is a great actor. Let me know what you think.

Intentions and Weight Loss

Today, I realized that my past failures with weight loss may have a lot to do with my intentions. I noticed that every single time I’ve decided to start a detox or new fitness regime, my reason were always something like me wanting to look so good that I turn heads, or because I want attract the man of my dream, etc. Never has my reason been purely for the sake of doing something good for my body. Imagine that… to desire to be in the best health/fitness level possible simply because I love myself… What a concept.

Customer Service Hell

I decided on Sunday that paying for Office Depot’s Brand Performance Protection Plan for my HP Pavillion was not the wisest decision I ever made. One of my buttons broke off and it was hell just to get a claim approved. Funny thing is when I had the same issue with my iBook, Apple quickly replaced my keyboard. When I called back to request for a different UPS label since I moved, the Customer Service Rep told me to scratch out my old address. When I called UPS to confirm if this was ok, they told me it wasn’t. To top it off, my battery suddenly died. Unsurprisingly, batteries are not covered under this plan. Go figure.

Anyways, in the spirit of customer service hell, here’s a video that brings it all home. If you’ve never heard the term “Dell Hell” before, you’re about to experience it now. Funny video and a true story. Enjoy!

Hey all, I just posted a new Youtube Video. Josh from Vlogeveryday asked people to submit movies for a Christmas Collaboration. At first, I thought to myself, “yeah right, I’m not going to make a fool of myself!” But after I gave it some thought, I decided to go for it. Yes, I admit, my first concern was that people would leave mean comments. But you know what, whateva! I had fun making this video and that’s all that matters … right?
